£1,000 Grant Received from One You South Glos
Thank you so much to One You South Glos who have very kindly given us a £1,000 grant to employ a part-time manager at The Kingswood Kitchen. This will go such a long way to ensure the kitchen remains sustainable over the next 12 months and can continue to provide meals to the BS15 community.
£3,000 Grant from Kingswood Councillors
A huge thank-you goes out to Councillors Andrea Reid and Alison Evans for granting us £3,000 from their MAF funding. This money will go towards opening and operating a Community Kitchen, The Kingswood Kitchen, offering hot meals weekly for delivery or collection on a pay-as-you-can basis.
£1,000 Donation Received
Leidos UK have initially donated £1,000 to help get the kitchen up-and-running, and we are in talks to develop a longer-term partnership. Thank you so much to Paul and all of the team at Leidos!
£1,500 Donation Received
A huge, huge thank you to The Hanham Traders who have donated a staggering £1,500 to The BS15 Community Kitchen. This money will be used to get all of the initial stock for the kitchen, and keep us going for a while!
£20,000 Grant Received
South Gloucestershire’s ‘Thrive High Street Fund’ has awarded We Are BS15 £20,000 for our various community projects. The money granted will be used to open a Community Cafe in Hanahm.
