We are BS15 is a community-led not-for-profit organisation. We aim to Connect the people of BS15, Share food, skills, products and knowledge and, in turn, Grow as a community in our shared resilience and compassion. We want to see an end to loneliness and isolation and for BS15 to become empowered and supported by one another.
Since June 2021, we have opened four projects; The Kingswood Kitchen, The Beacon Cafe, The Kingswood Fridge and Trinity Garden Kingswood.
All of our projects are predominantly operated by amazing volunteers who share our vision to help one another and build a resilient, supportive community.
Check out our current projects by clicking the links below or in the menu.
If you'd like to get involved with any of our current or future projects, have an idea of a project and would like our help to get it off the ground, or have a project that you think we can work together on, please get in touch!
In our kitchen, we cook up fresh meals using ingredients from local suppliers and fresh salad and veg grown in our own Trinity Food Garden.
Every week, we've got a choice of a meat and a veggie dish.
The Beacon Cafe, Hanham, is an inclusive community cafe that operates on a unique 'Pay-as-you-can' donation basis.
We only use the best quality ingredients, and source our food as locally as possible.
At The Trinity Food Garden, we believe in the power of growing our own food.
Not only does it provide us with fresh and nutritious produce, but it also brings us together as a community.
At The Kingswood Food Club, we believe in the power of community and sustainability.
That's why we've partnered with local suppliers and businesses to rescue perfectly good food that would otherwise go to waste.
We have got lots of exciting volunteering opportunities across a range of projects including gardening, cooking, delivering meals, distributing surplus food, marketing, bid writing, administration, call handling, leaflet distribution and much more!
Have a look at our Get Involved page for details of our current opportunities.
