SURPLUS FOOD COLLECTION DRIVERS
As a Surplus Food Collection Driver, your duties include collecting surplus food from the Fareshare warehouse and local supermarkets, handling up to 200kg of surplus food, and ensuring proper food safety and health and safety practices.
We’re looking for volunteers who can help with our weekly Wednesday collection from Fareshare in St. Judes, and collect from supermarkets on Wednesday evenings, Thursday mornings and other ad-hoc days throughout the week.
At The Kingswood Food Club, we believe in the power of community and sustainability. Each week, we gather a range of groceries that would otherwise go to waste, including fresh produce, pantry staples, and delicious treats. For just £2, Kingswood Food Club members can pick up groceries worth £10-£15 at supermarket prices. Joining our food club is a convenient and affordable way to stock up on groceries while making a positive difference.
